Melanie has over 30 years of experience in business consulting and has provided advice on credit risk management, restructuring and insolvency events. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in South Africa, Melanie spent 3.5 years in London.

Since arriving in Australia, Melanie worked at firms such as Grant Thornton and PwC in their corporate restructuring divisions. Her key clients have included global brands such as Barclays Bank, Rand Merchant Bank, South African Breweries as well as local names such as Bell Group, Pinetec Sawmill, Soils Ain’t Soils and Challenge Dairy. Her industry experience includes financial services, property management, logistics, investment management trusts, retail, and training.

Corporate restructuring has provided Melanie with a deep understanding of why businesses fail, the warning signs and the critical factors for a successful restructure.
